Bakhtajerd (Persian: بختاجرد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Bakhtajerd Rural District[b] of the Central District of Darab County, Fars province, Iran.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 877 in 201 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,093 people in 258 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 889 people in 277 households.[2]
