Ahel (Persian: اهل)[a] is a city in Eshkanan District of Lamerd County, Fars province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,797 in 606 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,940 people in 752 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,179 people in 839 households.[2]

There are documents show that this town back to sasanid or Neo-Persian Empire of ancient Iran. the Sorez Castle, Water Mill, Qanat and Aqueduct are famous.[citation needed]
