Khonjesht (Persian: خنجشت)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Khonjesht Rural District[4] of the Central District of Eqlid County, Fars province, Iran. The village is the main settlement of the Kurdish Kordshuli tribe.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,366 in 534 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,363 people in 589 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,487 people in 768 households.[2]
