Zahra (Persian: زهرا)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Muran District of Germi County, Ardabil province, Iran. It also serves as the administrative center for Ojarud-e Sharqi Rural District.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 161 in 40 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 222 people in 45 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 326 people in 59 households.[2]

After the census, the village of Zahra was elevated to the status of a city.[7]
