Discussion[edit]

There is a task force, covering the subject: Wikipedia:WikiProject Russia/Language and literature of Russia task force. It was started about a month ago, and currently is in development. I think that we can do without a standalone project for now. I know just a few people whom I intend to ask to join the task force, and better leave it as a part of WikiProject Russia. To clarify my position I should say that actually I would like to have a separate project some time later. But we already have two inactive Russia-related projects which never became properly developed due to the low participation: Wikipedia:WikiProject Russian History and Wikipedia:WikiProject Russian federal subjects. That's why I think that for now we should better have a task force, and in future, if we have enough participants and activity, we may switch to a project on its own. Anyway, the current task force seems able to provide all the necessary infrastructure, such as bot alerts, popular pages list, featured content listing etc. GreyHood ^Talk 15:49, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
