Wikipedia:Requests for feedback/2011 October 6

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I would appreciate your feedback on this article involving a legendary figure in Maryland public education. Most of my sources consist of old newspaper clippings found in the Reisterstown Public Library's history room. The problem is that the clippings omitted a fair amount of information that I need to create accurate citations. I could scan them in, but what does one do in such situations? How can I make the page better and ready for prime time?

This is my first article. I've looked up the various links provided for editorial and formatting assistance on your webpage. I've attempted to base the article entirely on facts and added appropriate references. Please review the article and give me feedback on it. Thank you.

Hello everyone! It took me some days of research to create an article about EmailTray, a Windows email client. The article includes the software info box and the following sections: History, Basic features, Advanced features, System requirements, See also, References. I used references to prove the stated facts, and I did my best to use a neutral tone.

It is my first article here (I only edited existing articles before), so your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am working on a new article about a United States Congressional Candidate and would really appreciate some help with the following:

1. credibility- does my article sound biased to an outside observer? I am a volunteer for this candidate and as each of the other candidates have articles, I wanted to create one for her as well. I tried to give only simple biographical information.

2. citations- I tried to be as thorough as possible providing citations to my article, but I am having trouble with getting the formatting correct (long time wiki user, first time editing)

3. general formatting- making the subsection titles in a larger font, and generally how to make my page look professional?

I really appreciate the help!

I created this article about Edge Tech, Manufacturer's of the Edge brand computer memory. The company is a major player in the computer memory industry. I have tried to list reliable sources. A general review and constructive criticism of the article is requested.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Seems borderline on notability and clearly needs much work on formatting to Wikipedia conventions. I will try to rescute from the deletionists. W Nowicki (talk) 20:17, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate your help and I apologize for bad formatting. Jopa123 (talk)

please review my article about my village. I lived there about 25 years so I did not need any articles or reference. Thanks for your time.

I had a page deleted on this topic and per User_talk:Fastily's notes I am trying this approach to have someone else write a page on the topic as I feel it's relevant and informative.

The miraDry system is a new[1], FDA Cleared device for the treatment of excessive underarm sweat. The miraDry system uses non-invasive technology to deliver precisely controlled electromagnetic energy to the region where the sweat glands reside. The energy generates heat which results in thermolysis of the sweat glands. At the same time, a continuous hydro-ceramic cooling system protects the superficial dermis and keeps heat at the level of the sweat glands. Because sweat glands do not regenerate after treatment, the results are lasting.

This is my second Wiki article: and it was recommended that I seek feedback on this page. I have added it as there was a "red link" under the same name under the properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and I wanted to turn that link "blue". Congratulations. Needs a little work on editing and filling in citations from bare urls but will probably last. Thanks. W Nowicki (talk) 22:02, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The information currently in the article is basically all that I know about the subject. Please help find information and sources to go with it!
