Added a list and some references to software used with CiG. Not sure if this was done correctly.

Is this article ok?

~~Discover Travel & Cruise (talk) 02:10, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am confused as to what the article is about. It is called Discover Travel and Cruise but tells me nothing about the company. Instead it tells me a bit about Denise Falsay, a bit about Traveller's Choice, a bit about AFTA, and a bit about ICCA. None of the web links you have provided tell me anything either. Is there anything unique or notable about the company? If not it may not be deemed worthy of an entry and is likely to be deleted. I am sorry if this sounds harsh, it is meant to be constructive criticism. I would see if I could find some similar articles on Wikipedia to compare with yours and may be you'll get some ideas. Hopefully another editor will drop by here and offer another opinion.--Ykraps (talk) 07:59, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Inline citations added, as requested. Thanks

I think this is kind of OK for my first wiki attempt - tho I am flying blind... Learning learning!! Comments? Suggestions?

~~Eightyk (talk) 05:31, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It,s actually very good for your first try, the only thing it needs is more references that prove it,s importance for an enclyopedia that aren,t the company,s. Ex from news, television, big websites, or newspapers. It could also use some categories. --~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 02:15, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have posted an article on IBEC - the Irish Business and Employers Confederation. It gives a brief explanation of our history and our current role in Irish business. You might let me know if it is a suitable wikipedia article. Many thanks Jennie

I,m sorry, but businesses and their employees are generally not supposed to write about themselves and usernames cannot contain business names or be used by the business to make an article about themselves, you now have a case open at WP:UAA, at which you can comment if you want. As for the article, you would need to make it entirely factual and neutral, in no way promoting the company. Sorry. --~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 02:04, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've been looking at the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_%22Tiger%22_Dunlop artile and thought it needed a little more information as Tiger is a well known person in Ontario/Early Canada history. It would be great if you could look at my article as per above and review it and then we can consider publishing it. Thanks very much for effortsCJ_WeißSchäfer 15:24, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

I am an auto enthusiast who enjoys working on and learning about cars. I'm really not a writer though and especially lacking in writing any sort of computer code. I just wanted someone to check over this and see if it at least met minimum requirements. I realize it won't be winning any awards. Any help or advice you can offer would be appreciated.

~~NeisenKR (talk) 16:01, 14 July 2010 (UTC) Pretty good, but I'd include a few more good references\sources to show that the company is notable enough. An infobox and picture might also be good, which I can help you with if you want, but good job! ~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 05:01, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

~~Dunner99 (talk) 16:10, 14 July 2010 (UTC) I might try to add one more good reference and, if there's anything more to say about it, add in a little more writing - but good job! ~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  ·[reply]

I've started a page about the Death with Dignity National Center, a major player in the effort behind the Death with Dignity Acts in Oregon and Washington. I'll continue looking for more sources for the article, but would love to hear your feedback in the mean time.

Thanks!

Melissa

~~Melissathebarber (talk) 16:29, 14 July 2010 (UTC) Good job, but I'd definitely add those references\sources - as of now, there aren't many good third-party ones. Other than that, I might write some more and possibly try to include a picture. ~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 04:45, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback, QuerpQwertus! I'll keep looking for more third-party sources. My biggest challenge with that right now is the articles that mention the Death with Dignity National Center have been archived on deathwithdignity.org but the original articles have been taken off the news sites. Is it acceptable to cite the article from a news source without posting a link?

WP:CITE says that you can, but you should try to avoid having a large part of the article rely on it if you do. Especially with a news article, though, you can probably cit their website and put an HTML comment next to it, something like <!--article removed from news sites, archived here--> (it wouldn,t be visible, except when editing) and it,d be perfectly acceptable. ~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 01:17, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

~~Sylrod000 (talk) 18:18, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty good, but I'd include a few more good references from big newspapers, news stations, ect. ~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 05:37, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My account is new but I've been editing Wikipedia anonymously here and there for years. Can someone move this into the main space for me pretty please? Or if you speak/read German, can you add sources and info as appropriate? Thanks.

~~Theheatofthesun (talk) 18:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty good, but I'd recommend writing more and you need a few more good references to prove that it's important enough for an enclyopedia, such as from newspapers, television, or big websites. But with one or two more good ones, I'd be happy to move it to mainspace for you! ~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 05:25, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Are the references cited adequate? The article is about a new educational institution in India. Most facts for the same are verifiable.

~~124.124.224.26 (talk) 18:30, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good, the references probably adequate for now, but I might consider adding a few more. Good job though! ~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 05:18, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I've made changes as you suggested, such as adding in line references and neutralizing the content. Please let me know what I can do to make this page go live. Thank you

~~Lynn329 (talk) 20:38, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's much improved from last time (yes, I remembered |:-), there's some good references and it's neutral. I might recommend writing more, but I think it's ready for mainspace now. I've moved it, but, in the future, you can press move in the menus by the search bar to do so. Good job! ~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 05:08, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
