Clear up the confusion over the inclusion/exclusion of Greek/Turkish names for nameplace articles and try to create a Wikipedia guideline. A past (and somehow defunct) discussion can be found here. That is still the page that will include the final guidelines for the naming convention. The relevant debate and proposals can be followed here.
A smaller issue that can cause unneccessary edit-wars would be the criteria for the inclusion of the project templates for the WikiProject History of Greece and WikiProject Turkey on a range of articles. Please see the project talk page for the relevant discussion. Baristarim 01:18, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Develop an introduction for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus article: This is quite important since a lack of a concensus on how to refer to it leads to many revert and edit-wars across a wide range of articles. A uniform intro should be adopted. Particulars could be found in the talk page of the TRNC article
Turkish Resistance Organization needs a restructuring to create "background, organization, acts, timeline and aftermath" sections. After a talk with User:Aristovoul0s I kind of rewrote the intro, however the rest of the article needs the attention of an expert. Baristarim 19:31, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Operation Atilla needs to have its "Results" section rewritten. Currently it looks like a ping-pong game with "Greek views" and "Turkish views" listed alternately (in those words :)) Baristarim 12:10, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ongoing discussion at the Template talk:Cyprus-stub. Since there is no TRNC-stub, this led to an edit-war with the involvement of some administrators over the use of the Cyprus flag. It is currently under full protection, and the discussion seems to be straying off topic, so the involvement of a larger audience from the board would be useful, whatever the eventual outcome.
