Plan to return to some light editing duty

Hello to anyone who may be watching. I had an extraordinarily busy summer and Wikipedia editing got knocked entirely out of my routine, but I hope to return to some light duty. Zad68 02:15, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

You've been missed buddy, welcome back. Dbrodbeck (talk) 02:33, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
Thanks Dave! Zad68 02:35, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
Welcome back! If you would like a brief update on what's happened in your absence: Arbcom is discussing Eric, Gamergaters are discussing how to penetrate Wikipedia, fringe pushers are supporting each other, and the E-Cat will soon be providing free energy for all. By the way, something happened that you should be aware of. The 500/30 rule has been widely applauded, with the usual objections, and the model may be strongly extended—see WP:ARBPIA3 proposed decision. That case is a bit hard to follow so here is a quick summary: a very good admin tried to maintain order in WP:ARBPIA issues for years; he finally cracked after brilliant trolling; 500/30 is being considered to minimize future occurrences. In typical Wikipedia style, after a short block the troll is free to resume. Johnuniq (talk) 05:14, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
Good to see this. --Anthonyhcole (talk · contribs · email) 04:28, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
