There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. My previous username was not a group or organization, and I do not represent any business or organization, and I am tied-to any group or organization. I was just interested in the history of Tilton School and its alumni. I was finding sources for all of my data as well. I want to contribute more to the histories of rural New Hampshire, so I would appreciate it if my editing access can be restored, and I will be careful to not come across as advertising for a business again.

Alum in a common abbreviation for alumni... I suspected a group editing or a representative of a group. If this editor is suggesting that's not the case I have no issue with unblocking them so they may continue editing. -- Longhair\talk 10:30, 5 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
