If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dark Storm EP requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Shirt58 (talk) 14:46, 9 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Febuary 2011 - Dark Storm EP[edit]

Hey mate. Welcome to Wikipedia. I'm somewhat of a newbie myself and have only been on for a year or so. Made a few mistakes when i first joined and almost started a few fights lol, check out my talk page and you'll see what i mean. it does take a while to get used to the rules and guidelines, and a fair bit of reading to learn all the proper ways to do things.

Good work on getting the article up onThe Jezabels 3rd EP Dark Storm. I did most of the work on their main article and other EP's and was meaning to get around to Dark Storm eventually but have just been too busy. So you saved me the trouble of creating the new article from scratch and also got me going in updating their main page =) thanks man.

I don't know why your article was originally put up for speedy deletion but that seems to all be fixed now so we don't need to worry about that. Ive made a few edits, mostly just adding some extra details like the proper release date, the iTunes album rating and "Mace Spray" being number 16 in the JJJ top 100. I also connected your article to The Jezabels main article in the discography section so people who look at that page can be linked straight to the Dark Storm EP article.

I also noticed that the album art photo that you added was also put up for speedy deletion because it was uplaoded in the commons and commons doest accept fair use policy or something like that, im not too sure about all rules either. So I re-uploaded the image to normal wikipedia and explained the fair use policy in the summary. This is what i had done with the other album art of their first two EPs and they have been okay so far so lets hope this works aswell.

On another note, The Jezabels are awesome hey. Hayley's voice is so sexy. Ive seen them live a number of times, most recently at falls fest and am seeing them again in april. you heard all their ep's? seen them live? they're an awesome band, cant wait for the full length coming out later this year.

Anyway, good luck with the rest of your Wikipedia 'career' and any future edits. dont hesitate to contact me if you need any tips or anything for future articles or edits. cya ParsonsonL. WideAwakeInTheStarFire (talk) 08:59, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
