Bell End

Sorry about the rather harsh introduction above - don't take it personally :-P ! Just to say that I agree with a previous editor on the Bell End article - the word vulgar is neither relevant (it's a slang term regardless of anything else) nor particularly neutral. Like the other editor said, it is entirely subjective as to the interpretation of the article. If anything, it should be mentioned in the glans penis article that it is vulgar, but this will be subject to the above issues. Due to this I will be reverting back to the neutral edit. Of course, you are welcome to oppose this and I welcome you to discuss this further. However, I'd recommend you discuss before changing, as I can see this heading down the WP:3RR route. You wouldn't be the first to start a conversation that way. :-D I'm completely happy with the revert - there's better ways to be remembered than "the Bell End edit war guy". For the record, I intended "vulgar" in its lexicographic meaning, denoting a kind of slang that's "common" rather than merely informal. Splitting hairs, certainly, and after two edits it's clear I underestimated the ambiguity and overlooked the emotional tone it carries. I might be a crashing pedant but I certainly won't defend ambiguity on WP. Especially when it's reverted so politely. :-)  • Lainagier • talk • 01:12, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
