Phonology of Judæo-Tat[edit]

You are right. The word central threw me off. Of course, it could mean that the vowel can also (and most likely) be the close central unrounded vowel /ɨ/. Parishan (talk) 07:45, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnologue and Tat of Iran[edit]

I think, or better said I am almost sure that ethnologue is making a mistake about the Tati languages of Qazvin province. They are typically the Southwestern Iranian language. There might be some dialects belonging to Talysh/Old Azeri group which are called Tat in the popular vernacular, but the Tat of Qazvin - there are books which have recorded that language- is a Persid language close to Lori and Farsi dialects. Ethnologue is good at places but in other places is full of mistakes.--Babakexorramdin (talk) 15:14, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lists of people[edit]

Per both WP:V and WP:NLIST, we cannot add lists of people to articles unless we have verification of 2 things: 1) that he person is important in some way (having a WP article would itself verify this), and 2) that the person fits in that category. All of those people you added don't meet #2, and some don't meet #1. Note that this is doubly true for ethnicity categories, because ethnicity usually needs to be self-verified.
