Hello hochVoltag[edit]

I recently added a change to West Azerbaijan province population details as your edit wasn't taking in account the statistics from the source I included (http://www.daedalosinstitute.org/downloads/Kurds_in_the_Islamic_Republic.pdf). Please tell me before undo or change if you agree with my contribution or not and if not, what you would like to change. Sincerely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.74.140.231 (talk) 22:16, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your mentioned source contents only an personally approximated data and author herself is a Kurd from Iran. Biased sources in Wikipedia are not allowed. The only valid data about ethnic composition of Iran is the mentioned source, i.e. :

Is it the only valid source according to you or to the community? It's a universitary source, it's not biaised. Secondly, I asked you to answer and discuss before simple removel, which you didn't, it ios called vandalism. Sorry... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.74.140.231 (talk) 12:26, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The number of Kurds in the added source is only an estimation and can be biased because never a real census by the (Kurd)author has been carried out. There are also some sources which claim that only 2 or 3 percent of population in West Azerbaijan province are from Kurdish background. One can add these sources to wikipedia too. But only statistics based on census are valid. The source that I have added is the only statistics of Iranian provinces that are really based on real census. Hochvoltag (talk) 15:48, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How can you say that this source is biaised? It is a universitary source! If it was political or other, I would agree, but it is a doctorate source... Please don't undo the change and let's discuss this with Wikipedia Moderators, I will accept any of their decision. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.74.140.231 (talk) 16:20, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

based on which census? The source you have added is biased and only approximation. No one can say population status of area without any census. Please finde a source based on census. Hochvoltag (talk) 16:26, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry YOUR source also has no census.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.74.140.231 (talk) 19:40, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As I said before, the source that I have added is the only available statistics of ethnic composition of Iranian provinces that are really based on census. It is based on sampeling in 280 towens and 1400 villages and has been carried out by government of I.R.Iran. The source says that for instance 97 percent of population of Kurdistan province in Iran are Kurds or 94 percent of Kirmanshah province are Kurds. Please respect rules in Wikipedia and do not write in articles based on estimation based or invalide sources. Hochvoltag (talk) 20:38, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

My friend : do me a favor Show me the numbers you indicated in YOUR source (everything is in farsi, I can't understand. Show me at least the numbers in the source so that i see them. I menionned carefully in my addon that "some other sources estimate that ... " and about Kurds in WA. So I put this in the conditionnal way, no affirmation. But the source exists. Please show me the numbers in your source. If the source is a govt source of IRAN, I got NOTHING to say. If it's just a journalistic or other source, I am in right to put back my adds on the page. Your turn now and I really expect your answer fast.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.74.140.231 (talk) 19:40, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your deletions[edit]

I see you deleting Persian alphabet translations with no explanation, and images with claims they are fake but for which you have no evidence. Please stop this. If you think something is fake, discuss it on the talk page. And don't go around deleting names in Persian where that is clearly relevant. Dougweller (talk) 17:41, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
