Aditya Narayan Singh moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Aditya Narayan Singh, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. August 2021[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Narayan dynasty into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:34, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Diannaa well i did not copy it from someone actully it was just me but with a different id [which is not registerd] because it belonged to my mom so i did not made an id or logged to mine , if you want i can prove it but i will take some time as i have to go to my mom's place . Second thing i copied from myself to the other page because as you can see there has been an edit and the things are not same and i was working on them too Gaurav 3894 (talk) 02:39, 3 August 2021 (UTC) I have permitted Gaurav Rai to use my system for editing the page and contribting his content.103.68.32.24 (talk) 02:54, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The passage underwent heavy editing by a number of editors, including IP editors, since its first version. For any copying within Wikipedia attribution is required. I have now moved Ishwari Prasad Narayan Singh to Draft:Ishwari Prasad Narayan Singh pending resolution of the problems. Just as a note, the standalone article offered virtually no new information on top of whatever was already there at Narayan dynasty and so had little sense of existence. In short, it needs serious work. — kashmīrī TALK 08:16, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
[[User:Kashmiri|<sup style="color:#80f;font:'Candara';"]the passage underwent through many edit but none of them were same and what do you expect me to do write new history or what and i and other editors were working on the topic and you without discussing the topic putting it into draft was not at all right . i feel like you have some issue with me because in the bhumihar article you wanted me to get banned because i kept my point . here you are putting my hours effort into draft just like that without even talking, do you have any any knowledge on the topic ?? if you dont have then how can you just put things into draft without even talking to the people who have Gaurav 3894 (talk) 10:09, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bharatendu Harishchandra. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. bonadea contributions talk 12:33, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Bharatendu Harishchandra. — kashmīrī TALK 07:55, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

speedy deletion of a page[edit]

can anybody please tell me how to remove cross name-space issue Gaurav 3894 (talk) 03:10, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cross namespace issues mostly arise from making a link from a mainspace article to a page that is in Draft: or User: space. They are resolved by removing the link, that is, by removing the double brackets and any namespace designator, just leaving the intended subject of the link as plain text. It may happen that a link can be re-instated if the target page is later advanced to mainspace.
I wasn't able to discern how this question is related to the heading, though. Perhaps you need to explain better what your question is and link to any pages that are related. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 03:53, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
user:jmcgnh actually the problem was that i made a page which was deleetd because of the same issue thats why i asked how to fix it so that i can bring it back Gaurav 3894 (talk) 04:52, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't sound like a reason a page would be deleted.
You still have a page at Draft:Ishwari Prasad Narayan Singh - but as I understand it, the problem there (or one of the problems) was not cross name-space linking but copy-pasting Wikipedia content from one page to another without attribution. You can fix the lack of attribution retroactively by placing a notice on the talk page or in an edit summary - ideally such an attribution will point to a specific revision of a page used as the source (since pages are dynamic and can change by small or large amounts between revisions), but I've seen people get by with a much more general attribution. Also, it seems necessary to point out to you that this attribution is required even when you are the original contributor of the copied material. For more details, I'll point you (again) to COPYWITHIN.
Oh, and another thing you should not copy is someone's signature markup in order to address them. That addressing should be done with one of the {{reply|username}} templates. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 05:16, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
