Interstate 11 in Oregon moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Interstate 11 in Oregon. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it has too many problems of language or grammar. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. voorts (talk/contributions) 02:24, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024[edit]

Stop icon

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at List of Interstate Highways in Oregon. If you are interested to know how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements already in Wikipedia – and, if possible, correct them. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with sanctions, which could include a block from editing. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. SounderBruce 20:54, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

you stupid, us 30 business does not even exist anymore in portland oregon. It is us 30 bypass, just search it up. Egkxvj (talk) 23:08, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have noticed you restored the edit I reverted earlier here and upon closer inspection, I can say it is constructive. However, please include detailed edit summaries in your edits so wikipedins performing Recent changes patrol can see exact intentions, for example, Copyedit - change to: byp. is short but provides enough information about your edit. Also, please use the talk pages in a civil manner. If you have any questions, read the Introduction and you can always ask using talk pages or visit the Teahouse, most editors (inc. myself) will gladly help you. Thanks! However, it is US-30 Bypass Egkxvj (talk) 21:51, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Pacific Northwest Corridor into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 06:33, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Interstate 11 in Oregon, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Northwest Expressway (Eugene, Oregon), may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 22:17, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the work, but I do not see what is really wrong with it. It is a real expressway in Northwest Eugene, again thank you for your contribution! Egkxvj (talk) 06:29, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Egkxvj: to have an article on Wikipedia, our rules say that the topic has to be notable, not just that it exists. In this case, the subject has to meet the General Notability Guideline (WP:GNG), which states that we need "significant coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject". Two duplicative Google Maps references and a single ODOT webpage are not "significant coverage". If you can find sourcing that meets the GNG, and you can expand the draft to more than two sentences, then we can talk about putting it back in the main article space. Until then, I bid you happy researching. Imzadi 1979  06:34, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
