Reading History[edit]

As an avid reader of history, I'd like to recommend Larry Gonick's books. So far I've read Cartoon History of the Universe I, Cartoon History of the Universe II, Cartoon History of the Universe III, Cartoon Guide to Statistics, Cartoon Guide to Physics, and much of Cartoon Guide to Genetics. The last one I read while in the bookstore. One of these days I'll actually have to buy it, but probably after I've read all of his other books. I used to teach high school physics and I actually used his Cartoon Guide to Physics as a supplementary textbook! I mention all of this only because (a) your user name suggests you're an avid reader of history, and (b) I just finished reading Cartoon History of the Universe III (it was incredibly hard to put down), and (c) Cartoon History of the Universe II (or maybe it was I) has some coverage of Jesus, IIRC.
