A tag has been placed on Pokémon Crater, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, article #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MER-C 09:48, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have recently re-created the article Pokémon Crater, which was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not re-create the article. If you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a deletion review. --Slowking Man 14:17, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}

How can I redirect a page? Also, how can I tell someone to help me edit that page? --Arnold Go 13:08, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can create a redirect page by typing
#REDIRECT ''link target''
as the only thing in the edit box on the page you want to redirect from. As for contacting an individual user, you can send a (publicly-visible) message to a particular user by editing their User Talk page; for instance, mine is User talk:ais523, and I would know if you sent me a message that way. If you don't want to contact any particular user, it's not very easy to increase participation on a particular page; adding it to categories might help, as might adding a specific cleanup template if you know what's wrong with it. --ais523 13:11, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

"Wikiepdia"[edit]

I can only conclude that this was a typo in the link. Wikiepdia.org does exist; it has an Alexa rank of worse than 1,000,000 (implying that hardly anyone ever visits it), and based on the information Alexa gave me about it it would seem to be a Wikipedia mirror (although I haven't checked it so it might be something different just pretending, and it might be benign or it might be an attempt to spam). I've deleted the link on the basis that it was in the 'References' section, and wikis can't be used as references. Hope that helps! --ais523 16:27, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Requesting a block[edit]

I'm not an administrator, so I can't block users; if a user has already received a final warning and they continue vandalising, WP:AIV (Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism) is usually the best place to report them for blocking. Hope that helps! --ais523 13:26, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Template:NBA game OT[edit]

That's a very good question, you should ask it on the template's talk page. BlueRed 23:35, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

What kind of change did you make in this edit here? For the dash do we have to write "andndash" every single time? I just press the first dash next to insert under save page. It looks exactly the same, there is no difference to writing "andndash;" Thanks Monster Under Your Bed (talk) 05:03, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes i know about the short dash that people use just pressing the key on the keyboard. I was just referring to your change where typing in "ndash" did not make any difference compared to the previous edit.
For example this is typing in ndash: – And this is pressing the first dash key next to insert under save page in the edit box –

As you can see they're the same. That's all i wanted to ask. Thank You Monster Under Your Bed (talk) 02:57, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

== Proposed deletion of Motorola C157 ==

The article Motorola C157 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable. Phone is the China only variant of the C156, a phone which does not have a Wikipedia article. Is not able to be merged because of that.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 123chess456 (talk) 07:04, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
