Thats great mate. I have noticed you editing the footy pages (more notably the I-League pages) and you have done a great job. I also notice you were a part of a lot of Olympic editing as well and from the looks of it, you seem like a very worthwhile user. I really hope you decide to continue the good work, specially on Indian football pages. Oh and if your interested, would you mind adding your name to the participants at Indian Football Taskforce. This just means that you are a regular contributor to Indian football articles. Again I hope you stay longer and enjoy your time. Need any help, dont be afraid to ask. Cheers. --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 16:26, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just some more help[edit]

Hey mate, I forget to tell you, I am guessing you will want to create pages (specially for Indian football) but you cant just make pages randomly. They need to follow WP:FOOTYN or WP:NFOOTY which I highly advise you to read. Basically as an example for Indian football, a club can not have a wikipedia article unless they play or have played in either the I-League, I-League 2nd Division, Federation Cup or Durand Cup. If your club in India plays in a state league and has never played in one of the 4 then they can not have an article. So for example... Dodsal F.C. play in the Mumbai Football League but they have already played in one match during the 2012 Durand Cup and thus they are notable. But South United Football Club (which I have already nominated for deletion) who play in the Bangalore Super Division are not notable because they have not played in 1 of the 4 tournaments. See, simple. Just look at the two links on notability and you should get a good understanding easy. Cheers. --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 11:09, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
