Lil Jay is a Rapper from Long Island,Ny. Lil Jay grew up listening to whatever hardcore rap or hip-hop was going on. Lil Jay started when he started to become more and more interested in rapping and investing efort into his voice and his rapping. He started in a rap group with his cousin Andy Guptar and his best friend Andrew Baratz also known as "AJ". Lil Jay started to write more and more music with his Andy and Andrew.
Soon enough Lil jay invested money into studio equipment such as pop filter, condensor microphone, music stand and mic stand and a 2X2 Audiobox recording system. Lil jay started to record music but now as a individual artist because all of the members of his rap group "Freestyle Kings" wanted to go individual. Lil Jay plans on recording his first studio album called " Refuse To Lose" and plans on releasing it in late 2011.
