About Me[edit]
Hello there! My name is Daniel, but feel free to call me Danny! I am currently a student in my 3rd year studying Digital Arts at University of Hull, Scarborough Campus who is once again using the glorious resource that is Wikipedia in my assignments. When I'm not either studying or working part time, I am normally practising music. I have been an amateur DJ of for the last 3 years and enjoying every second of it! I am also a below average darts and pool player, who loves to play for the fun. Absolutely fascinated with Architecture, Design and America. It has always been a dream to live in America, and one day I hope to make this a reality.
Education[edit]
A;though I have always been interested in graphic design throughout my education, it was only until college that I realised my passion for it. I attended Wellington High School and completed 11 GCSE's with all but 2 classes getting a A*-C grade in GCSE.
- During my time at high school, I progressed my development of graphic design and took part in additional schemes such as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
- Following on from Secondary school I completed 2 courses at Trafford College including multimedia and software development. One course was very much hands on design work, where as the other was the technical coding aspects to it all (guess which one was which). During this time (as I said earlier), my passion for design started to emerge and I began self teaching Photoshop, Java and Illustrator to aid my college progression.
- Now currently I am continuing my ambitions and hoping to finish my course with a degree that I can be proud of. I hope to one day make dreams reality and come get into the industry successfully!
- University has been a real experience for myself and have learnt some valuable skills that will aid me in going where I want to go. I have continued to develop my skills on programs I was familiar to, but also learnt entirely new ones such as 3D and Maya
Assignment's[edit]
Although this is a new account, I was involved in another Wikipedia article last year for another assignment. For this assignment I will be looking into the Psychology of Internet Behaviour and more importantly the Uncertainty Reduction Theory. My fellow classmates (and now fellow Wikipedians) Eugene Podolski and Andre Grigore.
- Although this is my second attempt at Wikipedia, I understand the level of guidance and support needed from fellow the community, which is why if anything throughout the article/my profile is wrong in anyway, please help me in correcting it!
I am currently attempting to create visual images to accompany the Uncertainty reduction theory page. The visual images progress will be uploaded on my sandbox, please feel free to contribute with any inputs sandbox
