Bardaskan Palaya

Bardaskan Palaya is one of the natural and unique phenomenon of the Iran in Bardaskan County, which has been used in the past in a traditional way and as a salt mine, and has also been used in tanning and tanning. Palaya In the lowest regions of some Drainage basin, flat plains with special characteristics are formed, which are mainly located in arid and relatively warm and rainy areas, and are often covered by lake deposits and alternating layers of Clay, Silt and Salt.

Geographical Location[edit]

The natural salt marsh area is located in the south of Bardaskan County and 12 km south of Rahmanniyeh in the Shahrabad District. The Cretaceous and Eocene periods are geologically located northeast-southwest in the south Bardaskan County and in general the geological events of the region create a beautiful view of desert-desert nature and The evaporative sediments are saline.

National Monuments[edit]

The unique nature of "bardaskan salt Lake" was registered on December 29, 2011 as the first natural work of Razavi Khorasan Province in the list of natural Monuments of Iran with number 157.
