REMOVE the so called "Northern Cyprus" from this article! The so called "Northern Cyprus" is not a recognized by the United Nations, the European Union or any other recognized country besides Turkey. The Northern Part of the Republic of Cyprus is illegally occupied by Turkish military force since 1974 an since then it has been condemned by the entire worldwide community. Several UN resolutions have asked from Turkey to remove its troops from the island and return the Northern Part of the Island to its rightful owners! Therefore the non existent so called "Northern Cyprus" does not belong in a list of legally recognized countries and should be removed at once since it is an illegal not internationally recognized country! If this is not corrected, it opens the question why other unrecognized entities such as the russian occupied areas of Ukraine or Catalonia in spain are not on this list!

Please remove it as soon as possible! 213.149.189.231 (talk) 12:57, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
