On 17:58, 14 October 2023‎ , I added a version which covers much more details about Yahya Sinwar, about his family, about his youth, ideology, the fact that he murdered people himself, etc. Unfortunately, probably from political reasons, some users decided to revert it. References do not back up claim

To add to this, only one of the references actually mentions the surgery which is the Times of Israel article, referring to a prison chief who says this. As this claim has been made many times on television by proponents of the Israeli state, and no real evidence seems to exist (beyond one statement from, one could argue, not necessarily a non-biased source), one could argue it should be removed until actual evidence of the claim exists. The passage in the Career sections: "In November 2012, during Hamas' "defensive war"," Is pointlessly argumentative whether it is attempting to frame the conflict as a defensive war or cast doubts upon that opinion with its quotation marks. On October 7, 2023, Hamas, under the leadership of Sinwar, initiated a surprise attack on Israel, resulting in the death of more than 1,200 individuals, mostly civilians, and the abduction of over 250 people to Gaza.

The attack also involved the assault of numerous women, the killing of children, the elderly, and the burning of houses.

By March 2024, Sinwar remained opposed to any exchange of the kidnapped individuals for terrorists prisoners held by Israel. As of March 2024, 134 Israelis are still being held by Sinwar and Hamas.

The opening sentence of the third paragraph is hard to read. I propose the following rewording, which does not change the factual information but makes it easier for the reader to parse. The current wording is:
