Definition[edit]

http://wildandnoncompactknots.wordpress.com/2013/05/01/introduction-to-wild-arcs-the-interesting-stuff-that-can-happen/ uses a definition of "wild" that doesn't agree with the definition given in this article. Article needs a definitive citation either way. User:dbenbenn 07:58, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Framed knots are not wild knots[edit]

I moved the section on framed knots to the main article on knots. Framing has nothing to do with wildness. — Jeff Erickson (talk) 22:10, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In Celtic designs[edit]

I managed to find only a single article that shows how wild knots can be incorporated into Celtic designs, there doesn't seem to be any evidence of them appearing in historical designs. I think the sentence about them is misguiding, I'm removing it altogether (a single article doesn't mean it's actually done). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cubelith (talkcontribs) 14:53, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
