Watergate (architecture) → Water gate – Parenthetical disambiguation should be avoided whenever possible. WP:SMALLDETAILS suggests that the subject is the primary topic for the new title, since no other topics listed at Watergate (disambiguation) are correctly known as "water gate" with a space. - Support per nomination. Since Water gate already redirects to Watergate (architecture), this would appear to be an uncontroversial technical request. The existing detailed hatnote — "Water gate" redirects here. For the U.S. political scandal, see Watergate scandal. For other uses, see Watergate (disambiguation). Not to be confused with Gate (water transport). — resolves any possible misunderstanding. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 22:55, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
