Transcipt[edit]

I've just taken out an apparently complete transcript of this film. Sorry to whoever posted that--I'm sure you had the best of intentions. But Wikipedia just isn't the place for that sort of thing: even if its content were encyclopedic, it'd be alllllll kinds of copyrighted. Iralith 23:44, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Remake?[edit]

I was under the impression that it wasn't so much a re-make of the first film, as simply another film based on the same book. Similar to how Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (film) was based on the book, not on the earlier movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. I'm going to remove that sentence for now, but if anyone has a source that states explicitly that it was based on the older movie more than on the book, it can of course be re-added. --Icarus (Hi!) 20:14, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Factual errors[edit]

Members of the cast have been edited to show incorrect information; Xavier Montes did not play Jesse Tuck, Jonathan Jackson did, etc.

That was vandalism. I reverted it. Thanks for the post. Debresser (talk) 10:33, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yellow[edit]

The man in yellow is wearing a yellow suit and at times also a yellow hat. Let's not change his entry in the "Cast" section any more and keep it at "The Man in the Yellow Suit". Debresser (talk) 08:11, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Location[edit]

The book does not specify the location of Treegap. The film was shot in Berlin, Maryland, see https://berlinmd.gov/about-our-town/. 20:34, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
