I'm planning on creating the rainfall graphics for Alice tonight on Tuesday; the tropical cyclone rainfall project has finally worked its way back into the 1950s. Otherwise, the source of reference 5 is not the National Hurricane Center, and don't forget to add publisher information to all your references. There can also be no acronyms within your reference section; UPI/UP need to be spelled out. It's bound to come up during the GAR (GA review), whether it is me or someone else. Quick note, UPI is United Press International Cyclonebiskit (talk) 18:36, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
whoa, so Thegreatdr, you're the one who makes those rainfall maps? thats awesome, great work!! --Viennaiswaiting (talk) 22:01, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah. Thanks. I should have time early on my shift Tuesday afternoon to create them...the spreadsheet is nearly complete. Thegreatdr (talk) 22:47, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
sweet, thanks a lot. quick question - what is the "PRE" symbol, located over the Carolinas? Viennaiswaiting (talk) 02:06, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's something I've been adding to the rainfall graphics by request. It's an indication of a predecessor rainfall event (PRE) which is an area of heavy rain indirectly related to tropical cyclones which can fall hundreds of miles downstream along frontal zones.
