Excessive gallery images[edit]

I removed the entire gallery of images at the end of the article, except one that has been used as the lead image. There is little mention of saffron in the body of the article, but I could suggest writing sourced copy that demonstrates the importance of this crop and perhaps one more small image in the body. Happy to discuss, but extensive galleries are generally discouraged. Brightkingdom (talk) 19:20, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
