Stirling Lines[edit]

Re: "In 1960, the SAS moved to a former Royal Artillery boys' training unit, Bradbury Lines in Hereford, which was renamed in 1984 to Stirling Lines in honour of the regiment's founder, Lieutenant Colonel David Stirling." This is not quite correct, when the SAS first moved into the new camp, the Officers quarters along with the WOs and sergeant's mess were named 'Stirling Lines' with the rest of the billets for troopers and corporals retaining the name Bradbury Lines. I wasn't there in 1984, when the whole of the camp was called Stirling Lines. Ron Barker (talk) 07:11, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
