Beginning of restorations[edit]

The article says:

The hollow shell of the church was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church in 1990s and has been restored as the main church of a nunnery.

I visited the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in Theophania in October 1989, and visited this hollow shell one afternoon on a stroll from the academy. A few craftsmen where working on early restorations at the time - structural carpentry and masonry, and paintings of the four evangelists, as far as I recall. The inside was dominated by scaffolding. (I have some photos somewhere, but haven't found them yet.) So work actually began before "1990s". However, unless I find my pictures, I have no sources for this.-- (talk) 12:23, 10 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
