WikiProject Chess quality scale increased to B-Class

Quality scale was re-assessed, taking recent edits into account. A reasonable reading of the quality grading scheme was used to determine a change from "Start" to "B". Importance Scale was determined to be left untouched until further assessment could be made.

Meets criteria for "significant coverage" as indicated by being the main topic of external source material as well as prominently visually featured in external source material (see citations to Santa Barbara Newspress articles, full spread pictures in ProductionHub article). Meets criteria for "reliably published" as indicated by news organizations and unbiased sources (cf: Santa Barbara Newspress, UC Santa Barbara Publication, ProductionHub article). Meets criteria for "Independent of the subject". See same references as listed above. Edits to address "This article is written like a manual or guidebook. (August 2018)"

"Game Play" and "Regime Changes" sections were edited and simplified for clarity and to address the community flagged error of manualization. While citations are being updated (see Class = Start), the article references more external "secondary sources" citations than other validated Chess variant pages of the same category type (Unorthodox rules on an unorthodox board) (c.f.: Diplomat Chess, Rollerball, Jeson Mor). This article currently cites from other accepted sources within the chess variant community that are curated and monitored by independent, conflict-free players (c.f.: The Chess Variant Pages, Board Game Geek).
