Attempts at a Prod[edit]

Per WP:CONTESTED: Using prod on an article about a closed university is highly unorthodox. Wikipedia is littered with them, I've created several about former American universities. The institution existed from 1993-2017. User:NemesisAT added sufficient sourcing, that a good faith editor could have and, in my opinion, should have done. Please attempt deletion through an AFD. The use of prod was so strange I had to check on the user to placed it: I hate having to point this out, but the user who is trying to prod an article in Azerbaijan has userboxes ([history https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Kevo327&oldid=1028819696]) that are all pro-Armenia, a very hot topic since the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war. I simply cannot discount that evident bias. --Bobak (talk) 02:22, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bobak I didn't prod the article because the university is closed, but due to lack of sourcing which made it seem to me like a promotional article of an unnotable institution (Wikipedia is littered with those too), as for your worries about my userboxes, I don't hide my personal opinion (and no one should) but my personal POV doesn't cloud my judgement as an editor, with me evidently still being here after 4 years of editing and ~4000 edits. Otherwise the average lifespan of a biased account in the AA area is ~100 edits. Have a nice day editing. - Kevo327 (talk) 07:38, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
