Good afternoon, sources about Nizami say that he is a Persian poet. For some reason, the hyperlink does not lead to Persian literature, but to the Persian people. Nizami is a Persian poet, since his works are only in Persian, he contributed to Persian literature. The determining factor is not ethnic identity, but its belonging to the classical Persian literature, so I propose to make a hyperlink to the classical Persian literature (classical Persian poet), and not to the Persians people. The reason it leads to Persian people because Nizami was in fact an ethnic Persian, as was the vast majority of the population of Ganja during that time. You can check the Nizami article itself to see multiple sources, here's one of them:

>According to De Blois, Ganja was a city which at that time had predominantly an Iranian population. The Armenian historian Kirakos Gandzaketsi (c. 1200 – 1271) mentions that: "This city was densely populated with Iranians and a small number of Christians".

So a 13th century Armenian born during the time of Ganjavi, born and raised in Ganja recorded it as having a Persian population (he uses the term "parsko'k" which from its root 'pars' means Persian). Qahramani44 (talk) 19:50, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
