Putting the cart before the horse[edit]

All of the content of this article, other than the actual list of results, belongs at Montserrat national football team, which is currently extremely short. I wonder whether a desire to get featured-list status is blinding the editors of this article to the fact that the other article is, by any objective standard, a more important article that should have a higher priority in their editing efforts than this one. I have expanded the other article, so it is now over 5000 characters of prose. Per many, many featured lists there is no reason to say that only the list of results belongs here - the whole idea of a featured list is that they give some context as well as just a table. -- Big Dom 20:26, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
