How can he fight in the Vietnam War and play American baseball at the same time?[edit]

This source states Davison was in the military from Feb. 1969 until March 1972. So how could what follows be possible?

When he resumed his career, in 1969, he converted from a starting pitcher to a reliever. Called up by the Giants at the end of the season, he pitched in one game for them in 1969, then in 31 more from June 5, 1970, through the end of the season — all in relief.

Maybe he was in the military reserves. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 11:18, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Military service[edit]

Although some sources say Davison served in the military during the Vietnam War period, there are no reliable sources found as of yet that specifically state he actually served in Vietnam during the war. Accordingly, Category:American military personnel of the Vietnam War was removed from the article. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 11:17, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
