Is this another 'Facebook' entry?[edit]

Mark Noble, a New Zealander, is an International Correspondence Chess Grandmaster and has a better record over the board, but doesn't have a wikipedia entry. Yet this undistinguished Freeman fellow has an entry full of trivia. As far as chess goes NZ is a back water, and this fellow is at most a medium sized fish in a piddling pond. My suggestion - pare back the entry ruthlessly or, better still, delete. Wikipedia really needs to discourage people contributing 'Facebook' entries about themselves which may not even be of any interest to their friends (making a rather brave existence assumption). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.84.28.53 (talk) 10:41, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is a process for challenging articles, also he most likely meets the notability requirments as he has represented his country in international competition. NealeFamily (talk) 03:23, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
