Removed unsupported POV statement re "police state"[edit]

The following text was added this morning and was removed into the talk page:

The town is also heavily dominated by a quasi "police state" mirroring that of much lower income areas, depleting the status and image of the town. Such tactics such as intimidation, bribery, and profiling are commonly used among the two police departments, most notably the Boro sector. Citizen outcry to federal and state polititians have surprisingly not seen much progress considering the money and power that many possess.

While I cannot disprove the statements made here, they represent a very specific POV, offer no balance and are not supported by any source. I would be more than happy to work on addressing the issues I have raised and crafting a better paragraph. But the key point is that there needs to be a source — article, web site, etc. with specific details regarding publication, date and title — that would provide specific details supporting these charges. Until then the text should not be returned to the article. Alansohn 17:03, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
