Merger proposal[edit]

I propose to merge the article Neighborhood Market Association into this article. Mark Arabo is arguably notable; the organization he heads is not. Although that article has lots of references, most of them are not independent (the company's website, Linkedin), while the independent sources mention the organization only in passing [1] [2] in connection with a quote from Arabo. The article Neighborhood Market Association has been speedy deleted once already per A7. I think a redirect/merge would be a better outcome. --MelanieN (talk) 02:53, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think a redirect/merge would be a better outcome. HOw could I go about doing this? Thank you for your help ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by SDwikieditor (talkcontribs) 03:28, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If you agree to this, as the author of the NMA article, then I think we have consensus to do it. You don't have to do it; I will. --MelanieN (talk) 03:35, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@MelanieN: Question, about the tone of the article. The lead section, is very similar to the "about Mark" section of a website which one must presume is owned by the subject. I am concerned that the article reads like a promotion of the subjects activities.--RightCowLeftCoast (Moo) 02:08, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
