Saint Petersburg[edit]

Currently the page title is almost accurate, as it only includes results from the Soviet years except for 1920–4 which should be Petrograd, I guess. (I don't yet have a source for results after 1985). Probably this should be moved to St. Petersburg City Chess Championship. The Soviet era results can either go into a separate section or everything can be lumped together with a note explaining the name changes St. Petersburg → Petrograd → Leningrad → St. Petersburg. I agree that the title should be moved to "St. Petersburg City Chess Championship", after all the city is no longer called Leningrad since 1991. To me, separate sections (like in Russian Chess Championship) is a good idea. Sophia91 (talk) 19:35, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Missing results[edit]

I couldn't find the results for the 81st men's contest. Presumably this would have been held in 2008. TWIC gives results for a 81st Championship of St Petersburg held in 2009, but it looks like this might be something a little different as it includes players from outside Russia (Denmark, for example). A bigger omission is the women's championship. Apparently the 81st women's championship was held this year (2013), so there are a lot of winners to report if we can find sources.
