Phaasaa Korat is halfaway between Central Thai and Northeastern Thai. I would say it is more a dialect of Thai than a dialect of Lao. It is a dialect of Thai with some Ysaan influence.

Do they live in or near Nakhon Ratchasima? Badagnani 20:14, 5 November 2007 (UTC) Yes. Thai people in normal conversation still called the city name as Korat, its old name.[reply]
