Question about J.C. Martin[edit]

Because of the name, the question inevitably arises: was Joseph Clifton Martin a descendant of Gen. Joseph Martin, for whom Martinsville, Virginia, the nearest town to Axton, was named? Just curious if anyone knows? Thanks.MarmadukePercy (talk) 05:14, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
