Question[edit]

A common shout was made by the officers to the men "Joyriding in canoes is verboten!" - What's this mixed german english? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.65.34.9 (talk) 22:38, 17 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Zabecki[edit]

The Greatest German General No One Ever Heard Of by Stenen Zabecki is used for the core content in the article, including in Career assessment. Another citation is to subordinate Friedrich von Mellenthin. Both are quite complimentary, but do not appear to be impartial. Does anyone have an opinion on these sources, especially Zabecki?

Most of the praise in the article comes from Zabecki, some since removed as identified by another editor as copyvio. Cheers, K.e.coffman (talk) 22:19, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday[edit]

It seems from Balck's own memories that he was born on 12 December 1893. However, this article gives his birthday as 7 December. This information is approved by the German Wikipedia which even provides a seemingly reliable source. So, does anyone of us obtain Balck's Army personnel file so that we can understand Balck's true birthday?Ti2008 (talk) 08:05, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
