Importance Rating[edit]

This is arguably of Top importance. Gregory Thaumaturgos is one of the few Ante-Nicene, but post-Apostolic fathers whose writings are available with reasonable comprehensiveness, and he is therefore very important for the study of Christian belief in that era. Plagiarism[edit]

I've had to remove significant portions of this article because it was wrote copied from the Catholic encyclopedia: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07015a.htm this article may be important, and the Catholic encyclopedia is a great reference source - but we can't just lift material from it and plonk it down parrot fashion here. Unfortunately almost all of it had to go for that reason. Which is a real shame, especially if people had put work into wikifying it. I'm sorry, but, we can't just copy stuff from elsewhere. I'm adding stub tag. Petemyers (talk) 18:33, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
