Salus[edit]

There is currently no article on the Roman goddess Salus, who is not so closely identified with Greek Hygeia as that article indicates. I hope to post an article on Salus soon. Cynwolfe (talk) 21:23, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Early life[edit]

There's nothing in here about his family or his early life. While it is hinted that nothing is known about that, if it is true, the article should say so. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 22:34, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, to make that statement would require a secondary source; otherwise, it's original research to infer only on the basis of one's own efforts that nothing is known. A Wikipedian's failed efforts to find information is not an indication that it doesn't exist, if you see what I mean. So in writing these biographical articles, I don't state "little is known" unless my secondary sources have asserted as much, because I might just be making a statement only of my own limitations. Does that make any sense? Cynwolfe (talk) 22:55, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
