After waiting a week I think its safe to assume the article is more or less 'there'. Im surprised the anecdotes that showed up some faults of his stayed for over a year or longer and they were not balanced by other stories put in by interested parties. I guess he has less people devoted to him than imagined. This would fit with his small notability in the real world which I think is now matched by the article size. Any more cuts and it may be best as a 'stub' article. SaintAviatorlets talk 03:50, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think I would replace the word "real world" with "people who are not followers of Meher Baba" who alone, as far as I could tell, was extremely complementary of Brabazon's book "Stay With God" (1959), which makes sense as he asked Brabazon to write it, and even gave it its theme. Baba gushed and gushed about the book, and one of his complements is prominently displayed on the back cover of the 1990 paperback edition which I own. I don't agree it is a stub. I think it is a "Start class" article, and have made the correction for the time being, until someone can give some reliable and verifiable third party references. Simply Meher Baba publications are nearly worthless, as they naturally must follow Meher Baba's own enthusiasm for Brabazon's writing (mainly the above mentioned book done at his request). I actually own and love "Stay With God" by Francis Brabazon. But I recognize you sort of have to buy-into Meher Baba and his own book "God Speaks," on which "Stay With God" could be said to be commentary, to understand or appreciate the book. Dazedbythebell (talk) 20:43, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The 'real world' is what every WP editor references. They would describe it as the 'real world', Im pretty sure, although I have not met them all. I cant speak for followers of Meher Baba either, but the ones I have met all seem to be in the real world. Its irrelevant re WP anyways. Refs rule. Im OK with Stay With God, if refed OK.
No apology required, just shutting down a potential worm hole. SaintAviatorlets talk 08:42, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Whether its a start article or a stub Im only concerned as a WP editor with having RS refs people can check. I took out what was unreferenced. I think we may need some neutral help from the more senior editor who warned the sockpuppet if some of these un real people come in, i.e I heard first hand Mrs X wants to make FBs room on AA a shrine. Mandali shrine !! Duh now Ive heard it all. SaintAviatorlets talk 23:30, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
