Battle of Firuzabad[edit]

A couple of books I've read make mention in passing to Firuzabad as being where the Sassanian dynasty overthrew the Parthians. Does anyone have any sources giving actual details of the battle? If we can get a few together it should really warrant its own page. There's some pictures of Sassanian reliefs [1] at Firuzabad, but I can't find any actual descriptions.

Spelling: Firouzabad or Firuzabad ?[edit]

Far and away the more common English spelling is Firuzabad. --Bejnar 00:10, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
