Updates for Improvement[edit]

The first sentence should be changed to read in the past tense, (was versus is).

The last sentence should be updated to reflect that Dyno is not (or is no longer, if ever, if whenever) a Brand of Pacific Cycle. Lately (2016), an original researcher cannot find Dyno Products listed by Pacific Cycle under the "Mongoose" or "Schwinn" Brands. Perhaps they were discontinued, at some past date.

Various former "Dyno" trademarks have been abandoned or allowed to expire, but USPTO Serial number 78475808, first used in 1982, was renewed, by Schwinn, in 2015. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.183.224.2 (talk) 23:21, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notable?[edit]

I've just become aware of this article from recent changes, and I want to get a consensus on its notability. This article was created by an IP that was only active from February to November 2016, and made a total of...5 edits. It was also constructed significantly by another IP which was much more active, but has not made an edit since June 2020. I'm pinging both just in case: @66.192.20.34 and @144.183.224.2.

While the creator might have argued that the founder and parent company are notable enough to have articles, that violates WP:INHERITORG AND none of Bob Morales' other companies have articles; there doesn't seem to be any mention of DYNO in reliable sources (in fact, I could only find mention of it on the company's own website, and websites like eBay and BMXMuseum, which actually sells BMX bicycles despite its name).

I argue for deletion. Side note: I just noticed that the significantly contributing IP has mentioned in the talk section above this one that they did original research when writing the article.Augusthorsesdroppings10 (talk) 18:33, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
