Czechia[edit]

I understand that Wikipedia does not intend to respect even the official position of the state itself. Does state -according to Wiki- NOT have the right to decide how it should be called? By what right Wiki has made such a decision? What are your criteria? Czechia decided in 2016 that there is no longer any reason to always and everywhere use only the "political" name the Czech Republic. For many practical reasons, it now wants to use the standard short version of the official name, also entered in the UN databases. We mean to use "Czechia" wherever the same short form is used by almost all other countries, such as Slovakia (Slovak Republic), Sweden (Kingdom of Sweden) or Switzerland (Swiss Confederation) etc. We do not like for example to be the only single one country among 30 NATO members, which declares its political structure in the list of the member states. It has been corrected finally in the NATO databases in 2022. Same is done with Eurovision, IOC etc. Why Wiki does not accept our will and aim to present our country under this short name as our official "brand", please? Thanks for your reply Martin Dvorak.
