"Cycling in..." articles[edit]

Wikipedia has a surprising lack of Canadian articles that begin with "Cycling in..." So, as a path on the route to getting articles such as "Cycling in Ottawa", I though it might be an idea to create headings in this article that would likely be articles of their own sometime. Why? Because if you go into wikipedia search box, and type "cycling in Ottawa" and if there are no articles named that, the first ones that would show up are ones with subheading of the search item. The same goes for Google searches. I know wikipedia purests will look at the headings in articles like "cycling in new zealand" and say this type of sub-categorization with a heavy emphasis on urban cycling is not a balanced subject. However, it might be good for the short term.SunKing2 (talk) 08:09, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You could also create the redirect Cycling in Ottawa to redirect here, then it will also show in the Wikipedia search box and you can change a redirect to a "real" article at any time. SeveroTC 11:38, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
